Fantasy Premier League: Top 5 Most Selected Transfer Players for Gameweek 6

Another Premier League week is behind us, and Gameweek 5 was certainly full of surprises. As we head into gameweek 6, you should know which players are red hot in the Fantasy Premier League transfer market.

I put together a list of the top 5 most selected transfer players going into Gameweek 6.

If you need to switch up your squad, consider adding a few of these red hot footballers to your team.

F Leonardo Ulloa £5.7 (Leicester)

The Leicester forward continued his EPL hot streak and abused a notoriously weak Manchester United away defense. He recorded 2 goals to extend his premier league scoring streak to 3 matches.

He is currently the top striker value in the transfer market at only 5.7 GDP. In gameweek 6, Ulloa faces a Crystal Palace squad that’s conceeded the 2nd most goals in the EPL so far this season.

M Angel Di Maria £9.8 (Manchester United)

After Di Maria’s stellar breakout performance in gameweek 4, many people were unsure if Di Maria would stay hot in gameweek 5. He proved all his critics wrong as he repeated last week’s performance with another goal and assist before being substituted. In gameweek 6, he faces a West Ham squad that plays better away from home but Manchester United is a far better squad at Old Trafford.

D Nathaniel Clyne £5.3 (Southhampton)

The Southhampton defense is arguably the best in the EPL now and Clyne looks like one of the better values in Fantasy Premier League so far this season. He’s remarkably consistent with his match performances by posting at least 5 points in every match. Southhampton has conceeded the fewest goals in the EPL this season and Clyne is a proven performer for his club.

F Danny Welbeck £7.1 (Arsenal)

The absence of playmaker Alexis Sanchez really opened things up for Welbeck. He looked hungry against Aston Villa and scored his first EPL goal of the season. In gameweek 6, he faces Tottenham in what should be a competitive match. Let’s hope Welbeck carries the same confidence into his next match.

D Michael Duff £4.1 (Burnley)

The Burnley defender helped Burnley earn its 3rd clean sheet in a row this week. Burnley hasn’t scored much but doesn’t conceeded much either. The Burnley backline has conceeded just 4 times, ranking for 2nd best in the EPL behind Southhampton. He’s an excellent low salary defender that has a great chance at providing steady points.
