Juke’s Quick Take

Gordon Hayward and Victor Oladipo were huge let downs so let’s move on and take a look at tonight’s 3 game slate. We have two nationally televised TNT games: CLE vs MIN and LAK vs SAC. My favorite stack of the night is the Chicago Bulls. They are in a similar situation as the Denver Nuggets last night and are running low on healthy bodies. The Bulls Coach said “Jimmy Butler looked good” in practice so he’s one of my favorite players tonight. In my Bulls stack, I will have lots of Michael Carter Williams, Jimmy Butler, and Doug McDermott.

Favorite Stacks

  • Chicago Bulls
  • Los Angeles Lakers
  • Minnesota Timberwolves

Favorite Games to Target

  • CHI vs TOR
  • CLE vs MIN

Top PG plays

PG – Darren Collison

He’s been playing heavy minutes as of late and gets a nice matchup against the Lakers. If Ty Lawson sits, then he becomes a must play tonight. I’ll stick with him because he’s been playing like an All Star lately.

PG – Ricky Rubio

Cleveland is playing without Kevin Love, which should keep this game closer. Rubio had a double-double last game vs the Cavaliers and is playing much better without Zach Lavine in the lineup.

Top SG Plays

SG – Michael Carter Williams

He’s starting tonight and should play at least 30 minutes without Dwyane Wade in the lineup. I love the Bulls stack tonight and I have him in every lineup. He’s also playing at home, which boosts his value a lot.

SG – Lou Williams/Nick Young

Both these guys are in play tonight because the Kings struggle against guarding the SG. Lakers are projected to win this one so I would take Nick Young in cash while playing Lou Williams in tournaments.

Top SF Plays

SF – Jimmy Butler

He reportedly looked good in Monday’s practice so he becomes a lock for me across the industry. He dropped 46 points in his last matchup vs the Raptors and Wade is out tonight. When Wade sits, you play Jimmy Butler.

SF – Andrew Wiggins

He’s been playing incredible lately and gets a nice matchup boost at home. He also has a revenge narrative going since the Cavs traded him for Kevin Love. I expect him to shoot early and often tonight. The Cavs are a much worse defensive team on the road so this game should stay close.

Top PF Plays

PF – Channing Frye

Frye is taking over as starting PF and becomes a lock in cash and GPPs. Some people will be scared away, but he is a lethal 3 point shooter and will get plenty of looks tonight against the Timberwolves. He’s always safe for around 20 FDP when he starts, plus he has 35 FDP upside.

PF – Julius Randle

He’ll be underowned yet should get plenty of run tonight against the Kings. PF is ugly tonight so he provides a safe floor with 30 FDP upside. If the Lakers win tonight, then that means Randle should have a big game.

Top C Plays

C – Demarcus Cousins

Demarcus Cousins is the top center play on the slate and we all know how much the Lakers struggle against centers. He’s expensive but if you can fit him in, he gives you 40 FP floor with 60+ FP upside.

C – Karl Anthony Towns

If you can’t fit Cousins, then Towns gives you similar upside while playing at home. He went off for 49 FP in the last game against the Cavaliers. I prefer Cousins but Towns is also pretty safe (especially for Cash).
