Fanduel NFL Week 4 Bargain Value Picks (2017)

Our Bargain picks column features the best Fanduel value plays under $7000 for week 4 2017.

QB

Josh Mccown ($6400) Jets

Josh Mccown is coming off a strong performance against the Dolphins and threw a couple TD passes against a generous Dolphins pass defense. This week, he faces a tougher matchup against a good Jaguars secondary but should be forced to throw more than often.

Case Keenum ($6800) Vikings

As long as Sam Bradford is out, plug in Case Keenum into your lineup. He is leading the #2 offense in the NFL and has plenty of weapons like Stefon Diggs, Adam Thielen and Dalvin Cooks to pad his stats. The matchup against the Lions secondary isn’t great, but he should still strive at home.

RB

Chris Carson ($6600) Seahawks

The rookie RB scored his first NFL touchdown and had 13 touches in week 3. He could be a sneaky play for week 4 since he had 20 carries in week 2 during the Seahawk’s first home game. Look for him to continue getting touches since Thomas Rawls isn’t 100% healthy yet.

Christian Mccaffrey ($6800) Panthers

Without Greg Olsen and Kelvin Benjamin (exited the game early due to injury), Cam Newton leaned on Mccaffrey in the passing game and had 11 catches and over 100 yards receiving. The rookie is coming off a good performance and gets a juicy matchup against the Patriots who are struggling on defense.

CJ Anderson ($6900) Broncos

Anderson had a down week 3 where he took a backseat to Jamaal Charles, but I expect him to bounce back against the Raiders. The Redskins’ Chris Thompson racked up over 200 scrimmage yards against the Raiders defense in week 3 so expect Cj Anderson to have a big day.

WR

Chris Hogan ($6900) Patriots

Hogan has 3 TDs in his last 2 games, giving him a pretty safe floor as long as Brady is throwing the ball. The Panthers gave up 35 points at home to the Saints so I expect the NFL’s top offense to continue rolling in week 4.

Larry Fitzgerald ($6700) Cardinals

Fitzgerald is coming off a monster monday night performance where he went off for 170+ receiving yards and 1 TD. His price is unchanged due to the MNF game so I am going all in on one of the NFL’s all-time great pass catchers.

Adam Thielen ($6400) Vikings

Thielen is averaging 9 targets per game and should get more passes coming his way since Stefon Diggs must deal with the Lions’ top cornerback Darius Slay. Mohamed Sanu had success in week 3 as a WR2 against the Lions so I like Thielen as a bargain sleeper pick.

TE

Jesse James ($5100) Steelers

The Ravens got torched for 3 TDs in week 3 against the Jaguars in London. James is coming off a down week where he battled a shoulder injury, but should have a big game if he’s healthy. The Ravens have given up the most FDP to opposing TEs. If he’s healthy, fire up James as a solid value play.

K – TBA

DEF

Jets ($4100)

In week 3, we saw several cheap defenses put up 14 FDP performances. The Jets dominated the Dolphins at home yet went extremely low owned in large field tournaments.

The Jaguars are flying back from London and have to play an away game against a defense that completely shut down Jay Ajayi and Jarvis Landry. It’s a risky play, but if the Jets can keep the ball away from Fournette, they should have a solid day.
