Fanduel NBA Lineup Advice & GPP Picks for October 21, 2018

We have a short 4 game slate on Fanduel with a lock at 6pm EST. With only 4 games to target, you’ll have to really focus on game selection during Sunday evening’s slate.

Here are my favorite plays on Fanduel for tonight’s contests:

PG

Stephen CurryWestbrook is already ruled out for Sunday’s contest so Curry is the top overall play on the slate. I want to stack the GS-DEN game because the two teams play at a fast pace and can score a lot of points.

Jamal Murray – Murray is in a nice spot in an uptempo game and should really bounce back in this one.

Collin Sexton – The rookie PG saw 23 minutes in his last game and has a chance to play extra minutes due to George Hill’s shaky play. The Cavs are one of the top stacks for the night.

SG

Dennis Schroder – When Westbrook sits, play Schroder. He struggled against the Clippers but he’s still in play. This will be his first home game in OKC and I expect a strong game from him.

Rodney Hood – The Hawks gave up 30 points to Garrett Temple in their last game and they are struggling to contain SGs. Jordan Clarkson is also in play as well for GPPs. I’ll lean towards Hood since he is the starter.

Terrence Ferguson – Everyon will look at this game logs and write him off but realize role players play much better at home than on the road. He’s in play for GPPs due to a great matchup.

SF

Will Barton – I love playing Barton in uptempo track meets. He also handles the ball quite a bit and should feast in this matchup.

Cedi Osman – Looks like Osman has replaced Lebron James quite nicely and the young wingman has topped 37 FDP in his first two games. The Hawks are probably the worst team in the NBA so stack the Cavs with confidence.

Juancho Hernangomez – I love all the Nuggets tonight and Hernangomez is a cheap way to get exposure to this game. He also put up a monster 40+ FDP a few years back in a rare start for the Nuggets.

PF

Tobias Harris – Play PF against the Rockets. Anthony Davis went off against him and Lebron James should feast too.

Kevin Love – Love came alive in his return to Minnesota and should continue rolling in his first home game.

Marvin Bagley – He played 32 minutes against the Pelicans and the rookie PF is a sign of hope for one of the league’s worst franchises.  Patrick Patterson is also in play for OKC but I’ll go with the younger player in this game.

C

Steven Adams – No Westbrook means Adams has increased his offensive output to compensate. He’s also getting more rebounds without Westbrook swooping in on every possession.

Tristian Thompson – My favorite value play of the night. He played 35 minutes last game and I expect a boost in his offensive production this year without Lebron James. The guy should be a walking double double every night.

Boban Marjanovic – Continues to produce in limited minutes. It’s only a matter of time until he assumes the starting center position from Marcin Gortat.

My Favorite Stacks of the Night

Cavaliers – Anytime the Hawks play, I stack the opposing team. Cavs should impress in their home opener.

Nuggets – Uptempo fast paced Western Conference matchup without the blowout risk. The Jazz nearly beat the Warriors in Utah so expect another close one.

Warriors – The GS-DEN is my favorite stackable game of the night. Stack and enjoy!
