Fanduel & DraftKings NBA Lineup Picks – January 10th 2017

Introducing your Fanduel & DraftKings NBA DFS Lineup Picks for GPP & Cash Games for January 10th, 2017.

Juke’s Quick Take

Today is a new slate and a new chance at NBA DFS. There are 9 games on the slate tonight and I think game selection is very crucial to success tonight. Several games could be blowouts but we also have a few potential playoff matchups on this slate.

My targets will be:

  • BOS vs TOR
  • POR vs LAL
  • CHA vs HOU
  • MIL vs SAS

There will be a lot of attention on the CHI vs WAS game, but I am worried about minutes in this potential blowout. The Wizards have won 8+ home games in a row, plus the Bulls are resting their two best players, Jimmy Butler and Dwyane Wade. With many more games on the slate, I am fading this one completely.

Key Inactives Tonight

Lamarcus Aldridge is OUT so that bumps up guys like Kawhi Leonard, Pau Gasol, and Dewayne Dedmon.

Cody Zeller is OUT

Klay Thompson is OUT

My Top 5 Fanduel & DraftKings NBA Picks

PG – Deangelo Russell

He is finally recovered from his sore knee and playing at an ultra high level right now. He has scored at least 30 FDP in 5 straight games. He has a height advantage over Damian Lillard and is playing at home where he is averaging 38 FDP & 41 DKP over his last 4 home games. He is too cheap and one of my favorite plays on the slate.

SG – James Harden

With Eric Gordon listed as questionable, I think we will witness a monster performance from James Harden. Eric Gordon is averaging 18 shots per game over the last week so those shots have to go somewhere. James Harden is the highest scoring player against Eastern Conference teams in the NBA, averaging over 32 points. He is the top overall play on the slate, especially if Eric Gordon sits.

SF – Demarre Carroll

I have been researching optimal winning lineups over the past week and there always seems to be a cheap 3k SF in the best lineup. Demarre Carroll is my favorite value pick at the SF because his shot is falling and he is finally playing heavy minutes. This game will be very competitive and fast pace as it features 3 of the league’s top scorers. I love the price tag and will have him in all my lineups.

PF – Julius Randle

With Lamarcus Aldridge out, I think this is a good spot to pay up for the safety of Julius Randle. Portland ranks last in fantasy points allowed to PFs and Randle dominated this undersized frontcourt (when Plumlee sits) in Portland. He now gets a juicy matchup at home and should have a big game.

C – Dewayne Dedmon

The Spurs big man is quietly putting up big numbers when he has the opportunity to play 25+ minutes. With David Lee out, he put up 15 points and 10 rebounds against a pathetic Charlotte frontcourt. Lamarcus Aldridge is out, which means even more minutes for Dedmon. Greg Popovic will not play David Lee 30+ minutes so Dedmon will get plenty of court time tonight. He put up 35 FDP in only 24 minutes last game, plus went for 18 FDP in only 14 (!) minutes in his last matchup vs MIL. He is my favorite center tonight so I can fit guys like Harden, Lowry and Mccollum in my lineup.
