PG
Derrick Rose – $6,900
Jimmy Butler was traded to the Phildelphia Sixers in exchange for Robert Covington and Dario Saric. This gives the green light to Rose to carry a much heavier load in the offense with Jeff Teague and possibly Andrew Wiggins out too. He’s leading the team in scoring over the last couple of game and has huge upside in a good matchup vs Brooklyn.
SG
Zach Lavine – $9,500
He’s one of my favorite plays on the night and I expect him to drop 40+ points against the Mavericks. He shot 73% from the field and dropped 34 points against the Mavericks who are ranked last in SG defensive effiency.
SF
Paul George – $10,300
No Westbrook means Paul George gets the green light to shoot all game long. He’s been putting up 50+ FDP in each of his last 3 home games, including 59 against the Rockets. The Suns have one of the worst defenses in the league and he should go crazy tonight.
PF
Montreze Harrell – $6,500
He’s finally playing 30+ minutes and has produced quite nicely over his last 3 games. The Warriors are missing several starters so this puts Harrell and the rest of the Clippers in a great spot to produce.
C
Steven Adams – $7,900
The consistency is there (At least 35+ FDP in 4 straight) and he gets a dream matchup against the Suns who play terrible defense. He dropped 45 FDP in his last matchup VS the Suns in Oklahoma City. He’s one of my favorite plays tonight.
My Favorite Team Stacks of the Night
Minnesota Timerwolves – Rose, Gibson, Towns
Jimmy Butler is gone so that frees up Rose and Towns to score all the points. If Wiggins sits, then Rose becomes chalk and I like Towns even more.
Los Angeles Clippers – Alexander, Williams, Harrell
The Warriors are missing Draymond Green’s defensive presence and have allowed 117 points over the last 2 games. You can stack both sides of this game but I’ll give the edge to the Clippers at home.
Magic – Wizards
This is one of the most stackable games of the night and the Wizards still have the league’s worst defense. The Magic are coming off a b2b but all the key starters played less tha 25 minutes so they should be okay for this game.
