Fanduel NBA Lineup Advice & GPP Picks for October 20th, 2018
We have a 10-game slate for Saturday night’s 7PM EST NBA games on Fanduel.
Before you build lineups, take note that a few teams are facing a back to back (b2b) on Saturday night.
Here’s a list of teams who played on Friday night (10/19):
- Raptors
- Nets
- Pacers
- Celtics
- Knicks
- Timberwolves
- Hornets
I usually don’t target big men on b2b but all of the guards and wing players are in play. Sometimes, you can target the younger players on b2bs whereas the older veterans may see a decrease in fantasy point output.
Below are my favorite GPP tournaments play on 10/20/18 on Fanduel:
PG
John Wall – The Raptors are facing a b2b and John Wall looks fresh so far this season. Whether he sees Lowry or Danny Green defense doesn’t matter so much since he is the engine of this team.
Chris Paul – I’ll have a lot of exposure to the HOU-LAL game that features All stars like Chris Paul, James Harden and Lebron James. Chris Paul is coming off a down game but should thrive against the Lakers. PG vs Lakers has done well over the years.
Rajon Rondo – Looked great against the Blazers and Chris Paul is no longer an elite defender (Elfrid Payton blew past him numerous times).
SG
Tim Hardaway Jr – Averaging 30 points per game and just took 25 shots last night. On a b2b but he is the main scoring option for the Knicks.
Danny Green – Put up 2 straight 29 FDP games. He’s safe for cash games plus has GPP upseal (Rodney Mcgreuder went off vs Wizards in DC).
Josh Hart – Was 2nd in scoring behind Lebron James in the Lakers’ season opener and looks like he took a big step forward with his offensive game
SF
Lebron James – He’s the top overall play on the night and the Lakers’ crowd will surely enjoy his 1st game in LA. I’m expecting 60+ FDP from King James.
Josh Richardson – Has taken the lead offensive role on the Heat and plays heavy minutes (At least 38 mins so far)
Will Barton – The Suns play at a high pace and Barton does well in track meet games.
PF
Lamarcus Aldridge – Averaging 51 FDP in his last 2 games vs his former team. Lebron exposed his Blazers and I expect Aldridge to feast against the Blazers frontcourt.
Serge Ibaka – As I predicted in yesterday’s article, Ibaka returned to the starting lineup and played 33 mins. He’s coming off a b2b but he’s a cheap way to get exposure to the Raptors offense.
PJ Tucker – Playing heavy minutes and will spend plenty of time guarding Lebron James. Lebron doesn’t draw as many fouls as he used to and I want to stack this game.
C
Joel Embiid – He’s on track to make a run for MVP and went off against a young Bulls team. Should abuse Nikola Vucevic and Mo Bamba all night long.
Javale McGee – Free McGee! He’s finally playing 20+ minutes and flashed his upside against the Blazers. He’s too cheap and we saw what Anthony Davis did to the Rockets front court.
Ian Mahinmi – Put up a dud in his first start for the Wizards but could play more minutes against the bigs of the Raptors.
My Favorite Stacks of the Nights
Lakers – The Lakers will feast tonight against the fast paced rockets. This game is must watch TV. Stack and enjoy!
Rockets – The Lakers lost their first game against the Blazers and surely the Rockets have more talent.
Nuggets – Always a high scoring affair when the Suns visit Denver.
Raptors – The Heat were facing a b2b in the Wizards’ first game and won. Raptors are in a similar situation and will be low owned.
