Fanduel NBA DFS Top 5 Picks: January 1, 2019
Welcome to our Fanduel NBA DFS Picks for January 1st, 2018. In this article, I share my favorite Fanduel Starting 5 plays at each position.

PG
Jamal Murray – $8,200
He’s coming off a masterful 46 point performance against the suns and has scored a whopping 77 points in his last 2 games. The Knicks have allowed 53.7 FDP to opposing PGs over the last 5 games and Murray should continue to produce in this offense.
SG
Lou Williams – $6,400
He’s on a recent tear and has been scoring the ball a ton coming off the bench for the Clippers. The Sixers are really strugging against SGs and just recently allowed a slumping CJ Mcconnell to drop 35 points in a recent blowout game in Portland. If you believe in the revenge narrative, Lou Williams will be playing against his old team that drafted him in 2005.
SF
Giannis – $12,400
The Bucks quietly have the best record in the NBA and this is mostly due to his unbelievable play on both ends of the court. On a slate without too many high priced plays, you can find plenty of value to squeeze him in to your lineups. He’s scored at least 30 points in each of his last 3 games.
PF
Pascal Siakam – $6,600
He’s cheaper than Ibaka and much more athletic than him at this point in his young career. He also plays A LOT better at home and put up 20+ points and 10+ rebounds in his last game. PF doesn’t have a lot of great options so I like Siakam here to help fit Giannis into all my lineups.
C
Brook Lopez – $5,400
Strength by Assocation. Brook Lopez has seen a career resurgance since entering the Bucks’ starting lineup. He’s always been a good player on bad teams (the Nets and Lakers) but finally has the opportunity to show his impressive offensive skill set. He’s averaged around 30 FDP in each of his last 2 games VS the Pistons and I like him again tonight as a cheap C value play.
My Favorite Stacks of the Night
Bucks – Giannis, Middleton, Lopez
Giannis and Middleton are both tearing up the scoring right now and Brook Lopez offers some cheap value in a good fantasy environment for the Bucks. You need to get some exposure to the Bucks who have the best record in the NBA.
Nuggets – Murray, Jokic, Beasley
The Nuggets have won 10 straight home games against the Knicks. I expect the trend to continue tonight. Murray is a must play while you can squeeze some more value plays in.
Trailblazers-Kings
A very stackable game since the Kings have been in a lot of offensive shootouts lately. You can stack both sides of this game, sprinkle in Giannis and build a solid lineup with lots of upside.
