Fanduel NBA Picks & Lineup Advice: October 30, 2018
PG
Kemba Walker – $9,000
He took a whopping 30 FGA last game and I like him slightly over Kyle Lowry because Lowry is dealing with a b2b and Kawhi should return against the Sixers. The Heat are coming off a b2b and Kemba Walker averages around 50 FDP at home. He will be a staple in my lineups tonight.
Trae Young – $7,100
He’s coming off a few bad games but this matchup versus he should bounce back nicely against Cleveland. He already light up their defense for 55 FDP and the Cavs are still winless at 0-6. His ownership will be low tonight but I love him in GPPs.
SG
Garrett Temple – $4,200
The Grizzlies have a great matchup on paper but one of the most frustrating things is their “hockey shift” rotations where every player averages around 24 minutes per game. Temple doesn’t have a great matchup (Wizards ranked 4th in SG defensive effiency) but he’s going against his former team and is extremely cheap. He’s averaging 28 mpg at home against the league’s worst defense.
Danny Green – $5,000
Danny Green has been a consistent performer at home for the Raptors. He averages 28 FDP per game in Toronto and gives you exposure to a Raptors team that is undefeated at home.
SF
Carmelo Anthony – $6,700
As long as James Harden is out, Carmelo Anthony becomes a top play in my book. He has 2 b2b 20+ point games at home against very tough defenses (Jazz and Clippers). This is a breakout spot for Melo who is shooting 48.6% from the field and 50% from 3pt range over his last 2 home games.
Nemanja Bjelica – $6,500
The big man has 3 straight 40+ FDP games and provides consistency with a nice 50 FDP ceiling against
PF
Larry Nance Jr. – $6,600
He’s increased his FD production in 5 straight games and gets a second crack at the Hawks without Kevin Love who is out for a while. It’s only a matter of time until he enters the starting lineup since he is producing big stats in just limited minutes.
Aaron Gordon – $7,700
Although the Kings are playing better, they still allow 120 points per game. I like the Magic as one of the top stacks of the night. Gordon will play heavy minutes to matchup with the Kings’ big men and I think he’s a wonderful GPP target.
C
Willie Cauley-Stein – $7,100
He’s increased his FD output in 4 straight games and he could break out in this matchup. The Kings are a better team on paper and team morale should be through the roof after an impressive win against the Heat in Miami.
My Favorite Stacks of the Night
Memphis Grizzlies – Conley, Temple, Jackson Jr, Gasol
The Wizards have the worst defense in the league and there is arguing going on within the team. This is a smash spot for the Grizzlies at home.
Atlanta Hawks – Young, Bazemore, Prince
The Cavs are winless and just lost their best player for extended time. They fired their head coach, Tyrone Lue, and even Larry Drew doesn’t want to coach this team.
Toronto Raptors – Lowry, Green, Leonard, Ibaka
The Raptors will be disappointed with their first loss of the season but return to Toronto against a fantasy friendly Sixers team.
