Kemba Walker – $9,300
He’s coming off an NBA season and career high 60 points and gets another plus matchup against Kyrie Irving who is well known for his lackluster defense. I love stacking both Kyrie and Kemba in an old fashioned scoring duel.
Jimmy Butler – $8,500
The Sixers have the 2nd highest total on the slate and Butler is cheaper than Simmons and a banged up Joel Embiid. If Embiid sits, then Butler will take the main scoring role in the offense and could have a monster game.
Tyreke Evans – $4,700
He doesn’t play well with Oladipo on the floor because he is a ball dominant guard. Oladipo has been ruled out so Evans will take over as the team’s main ball handler. He’s too cheap for his increase in minutes and I’m expecting a nice bounceback game from him.
Larry Nance Jr – $6,700
He has extreme Home/Away Splits with much better production coming on the road. This is a stackable game and I think Nance has a good perfomance in this one. He put up 34 FDP in his last trip to Detroit and has played well ever since Kevin Love got injured.
Andre Drummond – $10,000
He’s one of my favorite plays on the slate going against a bad Cavs team that will miss a lot of shots, leading to tons of rebounds. This is a great spot for a 20-20 game from Drummond.
My Favorite Team Stacks of the Night
Detroit Pistons/Cleveland Cavaliers
You can stack both sides in this fantasy friendly matchup. I’d lean towards the Pistons who are at home and have a great matchup against the poor defense of the Cavs.
Philadelphia Sixers – Simmons, Reddick, Butler, Embiid (if he plays)
It would make sense for the Sixers to rest Embiid who has been dealing with a swollen hand. The Suns are still a bad team on the road and I think all the Sixers are in play tonight.
New Orleans Pelicans – Holiday, Davis, Randle
The Spurs are coming off a tough win against the Warriors on Sunday and will be exhausted for this road b2b. The Pelicans are in a great spot to pick on a tired, banged up Spurs team that’s missing several key players. Rudy Gay will probably sit and Coach Gregg Popovich has historically rested his aging stars on B2b. All the Pelicans are in play tonight.
