Fanduel NFL DFS Week 7 Picks & Lineup Advice (2018)
Week 7 is upon us and we are almost half way through the NFL season. You’ll notice a slight change in the competition since all the NBA DFS players have left football and focused on NFL.
This means the competition level has changed a bit and we have a good feel of every player after nearly 2 months of games.
In this article, I’ll share my favorite Fanduel NFL picks by position and share my top QB-WR stacks as well.
QB
Jameis Winston – He’s coming off a 4 TD game vs the Falcons and gets a nice matchup Vs the Browns at home.
Mitchell Trubisky – In the first 5 weeks of the season, the Bears emphasized the running game and neglected the pass. That has all changed since Trubisky has thrown 9 TDs passes over his last 2 games. The Patriots will score some points and this game could turn into a shootout.
Brock Osweiler – Stepped in and didn’t skip a beat replacing Ryan Tannehill. At only $6500, he frees up a ton of salary to play top studs like Adam Thielen and Todd Gurley.
RB
Todd Gurley – Every week, Todd Gurley is in play. He leads the NFL in touchdowns and scoring. Just plug him in and figure out the rest of your lineup.
Tarik Cohen – The Patriots normally focus on the opponent’s top receiving threat, which means Allen Robinson will face a lot of stiff coverage. That opens up guys like Cohen out of the backfield. He’s averaging a whopping 105 receiving yards over his last 2 games.
Nick Chubb – The Browns traded Carlos Hyde to the Jaguars so Nick Chubb will see a huge boost in touches. He’s only $4,800 and is my favorite bargain of the week.
WR
Adam Thielen – He’s gone over 100+ yards in 6 straight games (an NFL record). Plug him in if you can fit him.
Albert Wilson – Wilson went off in the 4th quarter of the Dolphins’ last game and has averaged 25+ FDP in his last 2 home games. He bobbed and weaved his way through a tough Bears defense last game. Still too cheap.
Jermaine Kearse – Quincy Enunwa was ruled out for Sunday so Jermaine Kearse becomes a top value play at only $5000. He saw 10 targets last game.
TE
Eric Ebron – Even with Ty Hilton returning to action, I still love Ebron. Elite CB Tre’Davious White will likely shadow Ty Hilton and Andrew Luck will be forced to rely on Ebron once again.
OJ Howard – Jameis Winston has historically relied on his TE as a safety net (even during his days at Florida State). OJ Howard and Cameron Brate are in play, but I’d lean towards Howard because he has more upside.
David Njoku – This is a blow up spot for Njoku who has increased his fantasy point output in 6 straight weeks. I expect 20+ FDP from him going against the league’s worst pass defense. You can even pair Baker Mayfield + David Njoku in tournaments.
DEF
Jaguars – Jameis Winston has been sacked 25 times (2nd most in NFL) and he doesn’t seem right this year. He’s thrown at least 1 INT in every game and going up against the league’s #1 pass defense, I think he’ll struggle.
Redskins – Should be a low scoring affair against the Cowboys and the Redskins shockingly have the #2 scoring defense in the NFL.
