Fanduel NFL Week 6 Picks, Advice & Lineups

QB

QB1 – Deshaun Watson ($7900)

I had decent exposure to Watson in week 5 and it paid off nicely. In Week 6, Watson leads the NFL in QBR and has thrown for 9 TDs in his last 2 home games. He’s still underpriced on Fanduel and is a must start across the board. The Browns are still winless and the Texans have scored at least 30+ points in 3 straight games. Don’t overthink it. Watson is a top QB pick.

QB2 – Carson Pamer ($7200)

I normally go with mobile quarterbacks, but I think Palmer is in too good of a spot to pass up. He should be undeowned and has thrown for 300+ yards and mutliple TDs in his last 2 home matchups VS Tampa Bay.

Other Picks: Case Keenum, Drew Brees

RB

RB1 – Devonta Freeman ($8500)

With all the ownership going towards Leonard Fournette who is dealing with a minor ankle injury, I want to be a bit different and target Freeman. He has a solid floor and has scored in every game this season. He’s coming off a bye week and gets a soft Miami defense at home that should struggle to score points. With Julio Jones banged up and no Mohammed Sanu, I expect Freeman to be the focal point of the offense.

RB2 – Chris Thompson

He had a tough week 4 matchup against the undefeated Chiefs and is coming off a bye week as well. The 49ers give up the most catches to RBs (9). He’s risky for cash games but I love him in GPPs.

Other Picks: Todd Gurley, CJ Anderson, Kareem Hunt, Javoris Allen

WR

WR1 – Deandre Hopkins

It’s tough to move away from Hopkins who gets 40% of the Texans target share and has great chemistry with Watson. In week 5, he caught 3 TDs and showed that he can quickly turn a slow night into a monster performance. The matchup with Jason Mccourty isn’t great (he could shadow Hopkins) but his target volume and upside is pretty safe. 2 of Hopkins’ TDs last week were red zone targets. Watson-Hopkins stack is in play again.

WR2 – Larry Fitzgerald ($6600)

He’s at home and gets a prime matchup against the Bucs who allow the most FDP to opposing WRs (47). He has 4 TDs in his last 3 matchups vs Bucs plus he’s scored in each of his last 2 home games. Fitzgerald should be underowned and I love him in this matchup.

WR3 – Taylor Gabriel ($5800)

Mohammed Sanu is out so Taylor Gabriel will draw the start in his place. Sanu sat out during Week 14 2016 and Gabriel caught 3 passes for 87 yards and 1 TD. The entire falcons offense is in play, including Julio Jones. I think Gabriel is too cheap and will have some exposure to him.

Other Picks: Adam Thielen, Michael Crabtree (Carr is active), Davante Adams, Will Fuller

TE

TE1 – Rob Gronkowski ($8000)

He’s active this week after sitting out week 5 and will be a staple in my lineups. The Jets have won 3 straight but expect Brady to look for Gronk often. With so many people on Austin Seferan Jenkins and Cameron Brate, I want Gronk’s upside.

Other Picks: A.J Derby, Coby Fleener,

K

Dustin Hopkins ($4700)

He has at least 9 FDP in 3 straight games and the 49ers have allowed the most FDP to opposing kickers this season.

DEF

Atlanta Falcons ($5000)

Vic Beasley, the NFL leader in sacks last year, is active and Jay Cutler has the lowest QBR out of all starting quarterbacks this season in week 6. This could turn into a blowout and I think the Falcons can rack up the sacks and pick 6’s in this game

Other picks: Arizona Cardinals, Denver Broncos
