FanDuel UCL Soccer Picks for October 23, 2018
Welcome to our Fanduel UCL Soccer Picks for October 23, 2018.
We have six matches on the FanDuel main slate with a 3pm lock. Be sure to check the UCL Starting lineups around 1 hour before Fanduel locks. Head over to our Fanduel soccer research hub for lineup building help.
Matchday 3 should be interesting because we get to watch all time leading Champions League scorer, Cristiano Ronaldo, face his old club at Old Trafford. He is my favorite play on the slate.
Here are my top picks for UCL Tuesday October 23.
Forwards
Cristiano Ronaldo
He is finally back in form and should dominate against his former club. Both these teams have yet to concede in match play but Ronaldo will be fired up for this one. He rose to international fame during his younger days at Manchester United. Expect an emotional performance from the Champions league scoring legend.

Edin Dzeko
He scored a hat trick in his last UCL match and is the main scoring option for Roma who sits at the top of the group.
Midfielders
Isco
Real Madrid faces the bottom team,Viktoria Plzen, in the group who have allowed 7 goals in two matches. They are really struggling to score goals but I think they have success in this fixture. They have an upcoming match against Barcelona this weekend and will look to boost morale against a poor squad.
Hakin Ziyech
The best midfielder in dutch football should get on the scoresheet today in a home clash vs Benfica. He’s had two shots on goal in each of his first two UCL matches but I think he scores today.
Kerem Demirbay
He is too cheap and works all over the field for Hoffinheim. He tallied an assist in his last UCL match as well.
Defenders
Nicolas Tagliafico
He picked up a knock during the international break with Argentina but is slated to start on Tuesday. He scored two goals in his last home UCL match and Benfica has conceeded 2 goals in each UCL match.
Eric Bailly
The Man U defender will be busy dealing with the likes of Ronaldo and Paulo Dybala. He has the opportunity to earn lots of clearances and blocks since Ronaldo will be shooting a lot today.
Goalkeepers
Andre Onana
The young Cameroonian GK has conceeded only 1 goal in his last 2 UCL matches. He earned a clean sheet in his last UCL home match and I think he delivers again.
My Favorite Game Stacks of the Day
Real Madrid
They are struggling to find the net but a matchup against Viktoria should remedy the problem. If they don’t come out with a win here, then it’s seriously time to worry about their future without Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ajax
They’ve scored 9 goals in their last 2 dutch league matches and they have the fire power to produce goals at home.
Juventus
If Ronaldo gets going, it could be a long night for Manchester United. You can also stack Manchester United if you expect plenty of goals to be scored in this one.
