PG

Kyrie Irving – $8,500

He’s coming off a monster game against Denver and will be motivated to finally get a W after 2 straight losses on the road. It’s always a good idea to play Kyrie whenever he gets into scoring duels and that’s exactly what he and Booker will most likely do.

SG

Klay Thompson – $6,500

Dennis Schroder is a lock play again but I’m going to give you a nice tournament play other than him. CJ Mccollum dropped 40 points on the Bucks and Thompson has the best matchup out of the Warriors big 3. Draymond Green is out, which means all 3 will have to step up in his absense. Thompson lead the Warriors in FGA and scoring during their last home game.

SF

Kevin Durant – $10,800

The matchup isn’t great but it’s hard to ignore Durant who will be playing against the Bucks without Draymond Green. Green is a swiss army knife who racks up all kinds of blocks, steals, assists and rebounds while Curry, Klay, and Durant are the main scorers. Don’t expect Kevin Looney to replace Green’s assist production. Looney is mainly a rebounder and scorer. Durant and Curry are the prime candidates to step up. Durant can play the 4 or 5 if the Warriors go small and I expect his rebound numbers to increase, thus boosting his ceiling in tournaments.

PF

Kevin Looney – $3,900

He subbed in for Draymond Green who was injured his toe in the Warriors last game. He is the likely candidate to pick up the start and went for 9 points and 9 rebounds in limited minutes against the Grizzlies. Anytime a bench player enters the starting lineup for a high scoring team, he becomes a top value play for the slate.

C

Brook Lopez – $4,900

He’ll be super low owned but I absolutely love his scoring ability for GPPs tonight. The Warriors have always strugged against centers and Draymond Green, their best interior defender, is out. Brook Lopez will be going against a bunch of younger, inexperienced players in Looney, Bell and Jones. He dropped 22 points in his last game and lets you play core guys like Schroder, Curry and Harden.

My Favorite Game Stacks of the Night

Golden State Warriors – Curry, Klay, Durant, Looney

The Warriors are the top stack of the night and I expect guys like Curry and Durant to pick up all of Draymond Green’s assists, rebounds and steals. Looney is a nice punt play since he should get the start.

Boston Celtics – Irving, Tatum, Morris

Both these teams are struggling and the Celtics have the clear advantage in this matchup. Kyrie is a must play while you can sprinkle in guys like Tatum, Morris (playing against his old team. Revenge?) and even Smart.

Rockets-Thunder – Game stack

The Thunder have won 6 straight games but are facing a b2b after a close win in Cleveland. The Rockets are 3-1 on the road so this game should stay close. I think you can stack both sides of this game since neither team has a clear advantage. My favorite plays from this game would be Harden, Schroeder, Capela, Grant and Adams.
