What is the Flex Position on Fanduel & DraftKings?

With the new changes to Fanduel DFS football in 2018, many DFS players are wondering exactly what is the flex spot?

The flex position means you can play any RB/WR/TE at that position. Flex is short for flexibility and that’s exactly what the flex spot does for your lineups.

For example, many elite DFS players like to play WRs at the flex spot because they have a much higher upside than most traditional RBs.

However, I’ve noticed a recent trend in Sunday Million Winning Lineup: Playing the most expensive RB at the flex position. Running backs like Todd Gurley and Melvin Gordon are great options for the flex spot on most weeks because they catch passes too (giving them RB upside along with stable touches as a RB)
